Our First Public Service Announcement...

So we've all been patient waiting for the drop in anticipation...
I've spent countless hour's over the phone, sourcing suppliers of the right stock, the right people to get the print's done with and most of all, at the right quality.
So much effort put into one idea for a Christmas Launch,

Ol' St. Nick however has really out done himself this year with bad news as he's decided to lay a great pile of shit all over us... In the form of this beautiful sight...

When doing business with people that seem professional in their career, Certain expectation's are taken for granted right?, for example...
Getting out of bed to do what you've commissioned them to do and not calling it a snow day,

It start's with a delay of a day, then two, after a while it become's next week...
Soon enough you don't hear from them till you'll receive an email, stating that they are now going off to celebrate christmas with their relative's in cuba and shutting up shop,
But they'll do it first thing... in January.

Whilst, you, their supposedly 'valued customer', have your plan's put to shit... and mostly giving your brand a very bad rep.

Let down!

On Behalf of Ennui, We wish you a merriment with all your festive shenanigans and hope your Christmas wont be as fucked up as ours.
(well of course it will be as you wont be wearing our shit!)

Major stall in plan's but at least it gives us more time to deliver the Goodness...
Believe the Hype People!

NEW YEAR. NEW BEGINNING'S!

Countdown to?

Trying to spread the word via the like's of Facebook, the Blog and old fashioned word of mouth is proving to be somewhat more difficult than i originally expected.
I've always envisioned to give the launch of Ennui an awareness that's more organic than others as
i've been apprehensive about letting out the first previews of the Tee's too soon,
but things are feeling ever closer to being the right time...

Previews will be posted on Thursday 7:00pm

Avalanche Club?

With the current weather conditions here in blighty, i think it's the right time for me to finally start an idea iv'e had for a while now...

Christmas is right around the corner and an Xmas drop for Ennui would be brilliant,
As unlikely as it may be... I'm Still going to push for St.Nick to be able to pop the first Ennui tee's in your Christmas stockings.

Non the less, with near arctic conditions outside, I've decided to call the first Winter Collection
'Avalanche Club'

Here's a sneak peek at the Ennui's First collection 'Avalanche Club'

Au Revoir!

Past and Present...

From the beginning iv'e delved deep into the composition

of various Type and Design Style's, as it's been a necessity to give 'Ennui' the correct aesthetic.

The past few years of brainstorming have produced quite a huge body of work, that, in all honesty, i've never been pleased with.

Looking through the vast portfolio of work on Ennui its beautiful to see the subtle changes in style and colour from early pieces and the current identity thats evolved in front of my eyes.

After a lot of patience Ennui has finally come to life with simple designs that speak for the brand's identity.

Hundreds of hours and days of sleepless night's have seen the use of many many black markers, pencils, biro's, paper, rulers all the way to processing a polished image on illustrator ready for print...

Au Revoir!

Out With The Old In With The New...

Tinkering with little design aspects, Colourways and taking inspiration from nearly every aspect of life... Things are finally coming to fruition for 'Ennui' after 3 years locked inside the Bauhaus of my brain.

Au Revoir!
